48-pin QFN, 0.4 mm pitch, 6 x 6 x 0.75 mm
48-pin LQFP, 0.5 mm pitch, 7 x 7 x 1.6 mm
The SK5340 is a user-programmable HID-over-I2C keyboard encoder ASIC with an 8-row by 20-column matrix, one PWM backlight brightness output, a BLEN backlight enable output, and five keyboard lock-status LEDs. It supports multimedia, user-defined function, macro, Fn, FnLock, NumLock-impacted and KeyLock keys.
It connects directly to a host I2C bus or works with an FTDI FT260 HID-over-I2C-to-USB bridge. Its field-upgradable bootloader provides version anti-rollback and LMS post-quantum firmware signature authentication to support EU Cyber Resilience Act requirements.
SK5340-LT and SK5340-LP provide the same functions and 48-pin assignment in QFN and LQFP package options. Matrix settings, signed releases, firmware programming and design testing are supported by Sprintek FlexSuite tools.
