48-pin QFN, 0.4 mm pitch, 6 x 6 x 0.75 mm
48-pin LQFP, 0.5 mm pitch, 7 x 7 x 1.6 mm
The SK5301, SK5302 and SK5305 are full speed USB 2.0 HID keyboard encoder ASICs with an 8-row by 20-column matrix, one PWM backlight brightness output, a BLEN backlight enable output, and five keyboard lock-status LEDs. They support multimedia, user-defined function, macro, Fn, FnLock, NumLock-impacted, and KeyLock keys.
SK5302 adds a USB and PS/2 keyboard combo interface with host-interface auto-detection; its USBEN pin can also select PS/2-only operation. SK5305 adds a hot-pluggable external PS/2 port for a standard 3-button, wheel or 5-button mouse. SK5301 provides the core USB keyboard interface without these PS/2 options.
The field-upgradable bootloader provides version anti-rollback and LMS post-quantum firmware signature authentication to support EU Cyber Resilience Act requirements. Matrix settings, firmware and model upgrades are managed with Sprintek FlexSuite tools. All three models share the same 48-pin assignment and are available in QFN and LQFP packages.
